Tonight was Chomp, Plants & Animals’ monthly vegan dinner! The theme was “The Animals Are Loving It,” and the food was vegan burgers, fries, chickpea nuggets, kale, and twinkies. I’m very full now.
The Speakeasy was serving drinks, and I would have had several if I wasn’t abstaining for a month (which will be difficult, trust me). We ran into some people we knew and had a good time. High Country Kombucha was there with samples, Johnny’s Vegan Wine had wine by the glass, and the Sea Shepherds were handing out literature. Denver vegans are awesome, and there were hundreds there, so yeah.
